Cosmetics with probiotics
Thanks to advanced technologies, we are able to stabilize probiotic cultures in liquid, semi-solid and solid cosmetic carriers. We are thus bringing innovative solutions for a new generation of cosmetics containing live probiotic bacteria.
The problem of body odor bothers the majority of the population and is still a very current topic. This is also related to the change in the skin microbiome, which is responsible not only for body odor, but also for a number of common diseases, such as eczema or atopic dermatitis.
If we focus on body odor, this problem can be solved by using deodorants and antiperspirants. Today’s modern antiperspirants and even many deodorants contain aluminum salts, which potentially pose a toxic burden not only for the skin, but also for the entire body due to absorption. Our project is therefore mainly focused on the issue of how to feel good, reduce unpleasant body odor and at the same time not destroy your health.
Our proposed solution is the use of a natural deodorant based on probiotic cultures in a spray! Instead of aluminum, parabens and other chemicals in the fight against sweating, we use uniquely stabilized probiotic cultures that modify the skin microbiome and displace pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic skin bacteria. However, the main uniqueness is the uniqueness of the solution and stabilization of the probiotic culture in the spray, which has not been achieved by any multinational or local deodorant company.
The second significant application potential for our project is the spray application of probiotic cultures to the skin of patients suffering from atopic dermatitis. This disease is always accompanied by severe skin dysmicrobia and recent studies show that the application of probiotic cultures to the skin can alleviate the course of the disease. Application in the form of a spray – deodorant also represents an interesting potential in the use of our result in supportive care for atopic dermatitis.
